Hi,
I found a cheap option to get by until the DD mini comes out. It's a Horror Clix figure, the Frothweiler.

Yeah, the pre-paint job is terrible. And yes, the sculpt is not the highest quality.
But you can pick these guys up as singles for 0.30$ a piece! So I'm not going to complain about the paint or the sculpt too much.
Please share if anyone else has options or ideas for Hell Hound mini's.

I'll be looking at using GW Hounds of Chaos - the newest are pretty sweet, and plastic for simplicity of conversion.
That said they arent high on my list of minis to grab, I need to find a stand in for a Vril Engineer first

I was planning on converting the Wyrd witchling stalkers for vril guys. I want to buy the DD minis when they are available.
The GW stuff that has been coming out looks great...but man has it become expensive. Either that or with 3 kids (almost) I've hit my limit.
I can buy a ton of wyrd or darkson stuff for a single unit box of GW. And I get to use it more.
John, what have you found for vril engineers so far?

And the frothwielers look almost exactly like the picture in the book, they were one of the first things I thought of when I opened the book to that page.

Got my clix figs yesterday! Some minor mods to them and they will be ready to go.
Now I can put together my SS hunting party with 6 hell hounds.

Have used thoseHeresy Hellhounds, they stand nearly head high against the DD mini's and are PHYSICALLy very imposing.............. and they scared the shite out of my mate and his russians
