I put together a list, or more like a matrix of WWII vehicle models compatible with 28mm minis. I first started focusing on the vehicles statted out for AE-WWII but have since then expanded it to include more vehicles such that I won't have to go back and do this again the next time there's an expansion book. The is list is not 100% complete yet, I'm adding to it everytime I find something new. If you do find something not on the list, this would be the thread to note it on. Also the classifications and nationalities may not be 100% correct as I'm jotting them down to collect them quickly. So if you see anything out of place note it here as well. I'm also including some OOP kits like Bandai as they seem to be so easily available and the range of their line is just so vast. Some of the kits can, and I have, be picked up for less than $10 while others fetch some steep collector's prices. This thread will probably be a pretty good place to see who wants what statted out into AE-WII stats as there's probably not much of a point in statting out a vehicle for a game if there's no model to represent it. Let me be the first to say: bloody oath, that is a LOT of vehicles! Great stuff, though it is a bit of a shame that Airfix never got into the 1/48 market

Yeah there's a lot more than what I expected to be out there. Too bad some of it is OOP.
One source, that I had the foresight to pick up a few years back was some New Millenium 1/48th scale tanks. It seems only Wal-Mart sold them and they ran for about $10 each. I picked up some Panzer IVs and some Hummers (for another game). However I am kicking myself for not picking up the Panzer IIs (I thought those would be too early-war for AE-WWII).
It was pretty much the only reason I ventured into a Wal-Mart. However the company dropped off the face of the earth and I can't find them any more. At least I no longer have a reason to go into Wal-Mart.

Thanks for putting this together, this helps a lot for those of us new to historical war gaming.

Here's an updated list of Vehicles and Tanks suitable for 28mm WWII gaming. This will help you find some vehicles for AE-WWII. Also to focus on statting out future vehicles for the game that are already supported by models. Attachments:
