Due November 30th.
(I totally meant to post a thread like this for last month, since I had to keep tracking down dates for the previous month. Heh.)

Hopefully my MoAA counter cultists and accompanying Chaplain will be done in time, as long as I finish my current project speedily Ready to base and undercoat. They are Artizan (Thrilling Tales) as is the (as yet not arrived) Chaplain.

Fortunately, I just finished a whole mess of Regulars. I think the Airborne mortar team will be my entry. Better pictures of them to follow.

Out of curiosity, why have you left the shoulder of the bases "dirty"? Most people tend to clean them up, but you haven't. Any reason?

Laziness? Honestly, I hadn't noticed until I took the pictures. I brushed most of the dirt off with my finger after I based them but some of it was still stuck to the paint (I primed them on the base.) You can't really tell in person, and a once-over with a moistened finger got the rest of it clean. So, in other words, no particular reason.

First member of the two MoAA Counter Cultists painted, the second halfway there. They have a rather nautical tramp freighter look about them. Captain Haddock meets Cthulhu!
Great to finally paint a non military, non camo miniature after 20 or so British denison smocks! ;D
I love competitions, even casual ones. Its by far the best way to motivate my painting, which can otherwise be glacial at times.

So to spice things up a bit and get more folks to show their painted figs Darkson is going to send the winner of the painting challenge a free Darkson fig. Yep you read it right each month you have a chance to win a free miniature blister might even be a yet to be released miniature blister. So the rules: 1)Enter a painted miniature in the monthly contest. (Starting next month you it should be a Darkson Miniature.) 2) Vote for the winner when the polls go up. 3) If you are the winner shoot me a PM with your shipping address. 4) Wait for your cool free miniature. The free miniature could be a yet to be released miniature from AE-WWII, Bounty, or any other game that we happen to develope. well get to painting as you still have time to get into this months contest. Cheers, Robert
