Hi guys,
Whilst eagerly awaiting the rulebook, I thought I might have some time to build some starship corridors and parts. Can you please tell me how much space the typical starship takes up in Bounty? In AE:WWII it's an open space 4x4. I understand that there will be scenarios and games that take place in a similarly sized space, but that some of the scenarios are conducted in ships (which is cool!).
How much space do I need?
Cheers!

hello, Ive started as well. got 4 modular boards planned; each is based on a 2foot by 2 foot section of plywood, and Im using various rubbermaid drawer organizers and such epoxied onto the plywood for rooms and corridors.will go back later and apply 2d paper walls. already made 2 sections for use as cargo bay/flight hanger. will post a prelim pic to blog soon so I guess i am planning on 4 feet by 4 feet

I'm planning on printing out some of Fat Dragon Games Starship Tiles and using them as a modular ship building system. Sure, it is likely that none of the layouts will look like actual ships, but then the inside of a ship isn't always a scaled down version of its overall shape (unless it's Star Wars, which always seemed to be a little low on the realism side of things).
Plus, the same Tiles can double as an underground complex, space station, or many other enclosed environments.

We use Space Hulk tiles. nothing says death in space more than Space Hulk. At Gen Con last year we were using the Fat Dragon tiles and they worked well. Matthew was also using the Fat Dragon tiles to do playtesting.

We use Space Hulk tiles. nothing says death in space more than Space Hulk. And how much space, for those of who don't have Space Hulk tiles or access to them, does that take up? What amount of corridors, rooms, etc? Cheers!

You can see all of game's contents on GW's website. The only issue I can see with the Space Hulk tiles is that the corridors are pretty narrow. Though, you could ignore the squares and extend the corridor width out to the edge of the tiles for a little extra room.

World works does indeed have some cool options for sci fi. I'm waiting for Dagobah Dave to bust out some bitchin' tiles too. Hint Hint I think we'll be posting a series of recommended accessories soon. Kind of like with the vehicle links in AE-WWII. Stay tuned. Cheers, Chris

Being A HUGE fan of Paper Terrain as I am, I'm planning on using the World Works First Light Station (at least to begin with). Or their Mars Station for Planetside Games!

They are no longer available on any GW Website, and those who've posted them without permission received letters like this one - nimbarad.free.fr/GW_letter.png
