OK what I am looking for is different types of "Pulp Actions". What the heck am I talking about right? Here is an example: Secret escape passage:As the Wyoming Smith rushes into the room thinking he has cornered the Occultist, Radagast slips through a Secret Passage. These can be action packed things that a pulp hero/villain would do in a movie or the can be cheeze things that are done in comics. You never know your idea may get used in the game. [glow=red,2,300]Merry Christmas[/glow] Robert

Looking for ideas for action type cards stuff that you would see the Hero or bad guy do, thing that you would think "wow that was kind of cool" when you see it done in a movie.
Example: Indy in the last movie was all about getting that "Cross" as it belonged in a museum. Indy seemed to go above what a normal person would do to get that cross back..... and put it in its proper place.
I will do my best to post more thoughts when I have the time.
Cheers Robert

I'm not exactly sure if this is what you want, but here's a list of some of these types of heroic/villainous manuevers that people pull off during movies...
Environmental Hazards When an enemy soldier is next to a chasm, a river of lava, a large pit, a power core, or something similarly dangerous, the hero jumps out in a suprise melee attack, knocking his enemy off the edge to his doom.
Exploding Barrels While infiltrating a hostile facility, the hero is confronted by a large group of enemy soldiers. Armed only with a light weapon, he thinks fast, and begins firing at a stack of barrels containing volatile chemicals or fuel. The barrels explode, killing or suprising the enemy troops while the hero escapes.
Trap Door A single hero storms into a room, thinking he has captured the villain by suprise- but his adversary hits a button or pulls a hidden lever, triggering a cunning trap! Part of the floor falls away, causing the hero to tumble down into a dangerous position... (think the Rancor pit from Star Wars VI)
Friendly Fire Two enemies are attacking the hero from either side. He quickly drops to the ground, and the two soldiers shoot over his head, killing one another. I believe something along these lines occured during Black Hawk Down.
Air Support A few soldiers are confronted by a hopeless situation, outnumbered by enemies and pinned down. Suddenly, the roar of an aircraft motor can be heard, and a plane roars overhead, strafing and bombing the enemy position. Seizing the initiative, the soldiers rush towards the enemy area... The scene with the tank in Saving Private Ryan is a good example of this..
Sniper A leader is giving orders to his troops when a bullet from a hidden marksman suddenly hits him, killing him instantly. Without a commander on the battlefield, the troops mull around in confusion, and are unprepared for the upcoming enemy attack.
Dead Man's Switch After a long shootout with a powerful enemy, a marksman is able to fell him with a well-placed shot that pierces his body armor. When the squad moves up to ensure that their target is dead, however, the fallen enemy holds up a beeping device... the trigger to a powerful bomb planted on his person! If you've ever played Time Crisis II or III, Wild Dog does this after you defeat him.
Still Not Dead A hero is hit multiple times, and seems to falter. Thinking him dead, enemy soldiers begin to advance- however, the hero gets back on his feet, making one last-ditch attack despite his severe wounds. Boromir does this in the first Lord of the Rings movie.
Ambush A column of troops proceeds down the path, cutting their way through the jungle. Suddenly, fire pours out of the woods around them as concealed guerillas attack, and the battle soon devolves into a series of brutal, close-range engagements.
Automated Weapons The heroes are proceeding down a corridor in the enemy base, when suddenly one of them trips a thin wire or a laser detector! Automatic guns pop out of the walls and begin firing indiscriminately down the corridor, forcing the characters to beat a hasty retreat.

All Hero/Villain ideas.... Hero has villain trapped in a room. Villain turns and looks at hero smiling. Hero raises weapon only for a blast door to shut, blocking him from the villain, hatches open in the walls and water begins to flood in. Hero has villain trapped, he raises his weapon.....but something is behind him! (either monster or soldier who can knock him unconcious) Hero and villain facedown on roof. Villain throws something (heros girl, best friend, magic amulet keeping him alive etc) off roof and starts to run for his doomsday device activation button. Does the hero save the girl/friend/amulet or the world.... Hero looks at door and tries to open it...the trap springs (pit, falling steaks, monster unleashed) Hope that helps...for now!
Edit; I can't spelll.....

Stormtrooper Syndrome:This would be very fitting for certain scenarios involving heroes. This means that minor character happen to be very ineffective against more important characters (heroes). This means that these troopers, eventhough they are superior in training, equipment etc etc are for some reason quite unable to hurt the protagonists. For more info read this article on Wikipedia.

We could have a certain scenario in which you have a single or a small group of heroes who have to for example free somebody from some military hospital/prison.

doppelganger - play when a german hero is killed - haha, crafty german sciences mean that who the allies thought they killed was in fact a doppelganger, and the real villain was hiding in disguise! after casualty is removes, replace a basic trooper with removed character model. the removed trooper is removed from play, and considered a casualty.

An Act of Pure Evil The villain needs a victim to pull this off. When he wounds the opposing model, the villain may do so in some flamboyantly horrible way that his adversaries are repulsed by this act of utter evil. This could be something like branding something in the victim's face, carving them up in some especially horrible manner, or maybe, like Lionel Atwill in 'Murders in the Zoo', stitching the victim's mouth shut. The long and the short of it is, this is pure evil. The model the villain has maimed/killed now causes the equivalent of 'fear' in other enemies of the villain. Could be rather useful for making the point 'come this way and yer gonna regret it'.
Pulp magazines were full of these sorts of nasty surprises. How about 'land pirates' who looted trains by hooking generators to railroad tracks and electrocuting everyone onboard their target? Or 'coyotes' who used decommisioned bombers to fly illegal aliens into the US? Doesn't sound too extreme, until we find out the guys don't want to break US law, so they open the bomb bay doors and dump their cargo in the middle of the Sonoran desert! Or how about 'the Blue Scorpion', a pulp master villain who tried to warn off the hero by sending him three decapitated heads with hands nailed over their faces to resemble the 'three wise monkeys'?
Wolf in Sheep's Clothing Just as the hero/villain is about to loose their last wound, they reveal that one of the troopers on the opposing side is a traitor in their employ! The traitor model reveals itself at this crucial moment to support its true master.
More as I think of 'em!
