"commissar equipped with a simple pistol and ceremonial sword"
I like this and in the concepts this is how he is armed.
"penal troops should have really simple weapons "
They will only be armed at most with knives or broken bottles. But they will be strapped with explosives ;D that the Commissar will have the "Remote" to.

I was curious about that too! But about engineers, shouldnt all the nations have those, not just the Americans?

This might sound stupid but shouldnt the German long coats be a secundary 'project'? I mean the Americans still dont have a basic unit and the Germans are already getting a variant for the standard trooper.

Maliaka, on a completly off-topic note: (he he) you often point out my terible spelling and grammar (whitch is embarrasing as i belive English is a second language to you) but finaly it is my turn, *ach-hem* 'secundary' is actualy spelt secondary

I will interject here since Robert is out of town for the next week.
The German GreatCoats, American Airbourne and American NCO's are all in the process of being sculpted now. We will be casting and releasing all three packs at the same time. The sculptor just happened to work on the GreatCoats first of the three.
Cheers, Crystal

Additions for the germans:
Sturmpioniere (combat engineers) Command group (Officer, medic, radio operator) Sniperteam (like the allready done russians)
Hope the germans with greatcoats have bayonets! And please dont do the same poses as the russian infantry, there will be much better alround useable poses. If you will be interested I could send you infos of uniforms, weapons, poses and so one.
Regards Von Moltke
