Anybody have a way to incorporate Flames of War with AE in some sort of campaign?
I'm trying to figure out a good way of doing it.

if you want to incorporate weird war 15mm I'd suggest checking out Gear Krieg from dream pod 9 - you can still use Flames minis dp9.com/Worlds/GK.htm

Sorry I wasn't clear with my original question. I don't necessarily want a 15mm AE game, I was trying to see if anyone thought of a good way of using both FoW and AE. Maybe have a larger scale game(FoW) then follow that up somehow with a squad level game (AE) to the larger scale battle.
Just trying to get some ideas of successfully doing both in some sort of campaign type game. I mean they are both set in WWII, just trying to play both as a cohesive big game, as I like both games ;D
Thanks

I guess you could use the FoW miniatures to a limited extent to represent armies on a campaign map. You could even convert up some of the 15mm figs to represent the more 'exotic' options available in AE-WW2.

I'll admit, I have toyed with the idea of expanding the scope of AE-WWII to a company-level game. Right now it's nothing more than some random notes and dreams, but I do love the idea of a platoon of robots fighting alongside a platoon of Buffalo.

It would be a nice alternative for flames players (and my there are a lot) to add to their minis collections.

Platoon level would be fun, since I already have quite a few Germans for WWII gaming. I think as long as the majority of troops were more generic like Wehrmacht and stuff it would be manageable (like more Green options to the list I guess).

Platoon level would also allow for some higher points cost models - like vehicles or special 'weird' troops - as well.

I have got a FoW army (though it's not in season at the club right now), and I know 15mm WWWII would also be cool. As others say it would be cool to have more weird options, platoons of Tesla armed shermans and what not, that wouldn't really be doable in AE-WWII.

The sight of a Landkreuzer dominating the table would be awesome. And flames players are scared of King Tigers!

We FoW players are not scared of King tigesr, they can be taken down, by a Ferdinand. That is a little scary....

Right now it's nothing more than some random notes and dreams, but I do love the idea of a platoon of robots fighting alongside a platoon of Buffalo. The key would be keeping the elements what make AE-WWII what it is - that is to say, the Drive mechanic, the importance of skill level - and upping the scale a step or two. In other words, you start buying troops in actual squads rather than pairs (possibly have a weapon team attached as part of that "slot"), Experimental or Occult units deployed similarly (a whole squad/platoon of Robots might have a Mechanic as an embedded Shepherd, for example), things like Artillery become less abstracted, and fielding vehicles becomes less of an all-or-nothing proposition. I'd play it, for sure.

I've actually been looking for a mass battles kind of game with better rules than 40k. Wouldn't mind playing AE-WW2 at that battle scale. The multiple detachments isn't quite what I was looking for in that area.
Sure, it gets a bit silly seeing all those models bunched up on the table, but it's all in good fun.

Well there's a mod out there called Death Rays of War for adding aliens to FoW. I would suspect, that Gear Krieg and even FoW players would jump at fielding 15mm Buffaloes and Strumaffes.
One could either come out with a company level variant of AE or just make stats of AE units for various existing game systems. I suppose you might need a license for games like FoW however.
