Whew! Got my Wehrmackt done. Dot 44 is a lot of fun to paint! SS only pattern historically, but I figure in 1946 its gone into wider use. Not the best of picts, can't see the mud on the hems of their greatcoats too well... I also tried to make it appear that the greatcoats could be reversed to the grey tone on their flip side by showing that with the sleeves and such. Didn't want grey troopers for these guys and their coats, so I also went with a minimally highlighted olive drab. Anyway, researching this was pretty interesting! Not to mention tons of fun to paint them. Can't wait to do more.

The eyes look very well done I like the small highlight you did. The camo is great looking to. One of the fun things about Alternate WWII is you can do what you want with camo. Hell you could have Americans in Pee Dot uniforms if you want it's Alternate Events. Anyway we have some great looking miniatures posted this month.

The month may be done, but by heavens I painted this thing, and even if I missed the deadline, I'm posting it! Yes, it was a busy month, culminating with a sick kid home from school yesterday, preventing me from taking the time out for pics and posting. Anyways. One regular Waffen SS trooper.

Nice. Where is the fig from?
Everyone please feel free to post your miniatures even after the deadline as it is always good to see what everyone is doing.

Nice. Where is the fig from? Thanks. Black Tree, I believe. Or Artizan. But probably Black Tree.
