I just converted a Buffalo and added some special effects from armorcast to make it look like the tesla cannon is mid shot.

I just converted a Buffalo and added some special effects from armorcast to make it look like the tesla cannon is mid shot. I can't wait to see what that looks like. Any chance of seeing some of your other figs too? I noticed your stuff on the pulp city forum last night and it looked great. I really liked what you did with Nuke. -Chris

Here's my entry for the theme. A little early, but I had a head start. Now onto the the tumbleweed. I'm pleased with how the paint job turned out. I like that I did everything DIY. I got the camo scheme from a luftwaffe jet that I saw on wikipedia. I wanted the red glass to go with the red of the german soldier optics I'm going to paint. The stained glass windows were fun to do too. The German soldiers for this detachment have sculpted grave stones and cemetery bases to go with the church wall the Kugelblitz is on. Which is all to go with the old GW graveyard terrain I have for playing AE games with. The paint job has the added benefit of covering up all the rough spots of the sculpt! But it makes it really obvious where I screwed up on the canopy from a symmetry perspective...sigh. Comments are welcome! Thanks for the motivation to try something harder. Best Regards, Chris

Buffalo will count. Perfect ! Here's my entrie: Thanks to the lend-lease program, some buffalos came to USSR by boat to the harbors of Mourmansk and Arkhangelsk. The Soviet Army decided soon after to develop its own Buffalos ! So, there it is the "Krasny Oktiabr" (Red October), in honor of this month, and to Koshka Rudinova, from the Paolo Parente's Dust. I've used an "Ape" from the game Incursion, I've changed the weapon with a piece of a MG44 from a RohlingSoldat, and the head of the pilot came from a Soviet Banshee (maybe my favorite mini !) British Airborne Bike touched up and finished after a re-paint, alas the Jeep and Universal Carrier are only halfway done.
Will hopefully post pics tomorrow. I love the idea of bikes in battle, I just have little faith in it lasting more than the first turn. Crash and burn baby! ;D
