After seeing the Preying Mantis I think I had a multiple Nerd-Gasm. The PM has really awesome look and vibe in comparison to the anti-grav bikes. I like vampire and werewolf but there's something very 'gritty' about the PM.
Either way I'm looking forward to see what the new rules will bring.

I just realized the mini I have comes with a machine gunner in a side-car! Please tell me for the love of everything Sci-Fi there are side-care-machine-gun rules!

It looks like a lot of people are chomping at the bit to get some vehicle action going in Bounty!

It's funny as I don't think Bounty NEEDS machines and vehicle rules but the more I play the more excited I am about it. If Santa is good to me AE Bounty will have rules for motorcycles, robot crews and sentry guns.

I'm not fussed about vehicles. My gaming group was so annoyed with vehicles that they banned them in the most recent AE:WWII stuff we did - so I've got used to playing without them in the ruleset. I like the crew-on-crew fights where each model is a character. That's where I like to game.

I think what could be more interesting would be rules for space craft, ie the stuff the crews use for getting from A-B, and link this in to the campaign system. Does it have a good armoury, does it have a medi-centre, how many prisoners can the brigs hold, etc. Rules for vehicles would be interesting, but more out of offering new scenarios, rather than as part of a crew as in AE-WWII. Then you could have Mad Max 2 (where they'd trying to escape in the tanker) type games where different crews are using the vehicles as fighting platforms, etc. Duncan

My argument for Vehicles and big guns is that at some point, some one is going to pull out the big guns. Mercenaries if they are good enough will annoy some major powers, pirates will become a scourge that govenrments of corporations will decided to deal with en masse and even Bounty Hunters will come across prey that has resources and connections who doesn't want to be hunted. I think there's some solid narrative elements that could be incoporated. I've always wanted to try a game were it's the middle of a battlefield where players have to accomplish their objectives without getting caught in the cross-fire between two enemy forces.

The good thing with any of this, is you can choose to use an expansion or not when playing.
It's hard in any type of setting to please everyone, understandably.

Oh, I don't know. I'm a big fan of having cake and eating it too. Let's get through the next two books in Bounty and then we'll see what the Boss thinks we should pursue next

Options are fantastic. Like ketchup and mayo, you can add (or not) to taste.
I am looking forward to some meaty OTW issues for Bounty, and any hints as to what might be in the two books planned? Pwetty pwease?

I'm with you on the options. The more the merrier. I'm really looking forward to seeing the bikes because like the scenarios it can offer a very different flavor to the game. I'm curious to see what new scenarios each book will offer. Here's something interesting: I'd love to see scenarios designed for three players. I'd also like to see further elaboration on the possible campaigns that can be played. These are two strong features which really shone through in the first book.
