Oh they're not done yet. Unfortunately I got them done enough to use but haven't had time to finish them. I plan to get the airbrush out and get them all charred up eventually.

We also had this swamp and some ruins. I played this event with my fresh off the Dullcote bench and right into the carrying case German SS Veteran Detachment I was working on right up until leaving for the convention. I've never played them before either. However I was against Grumpy's friend who's never played the game either and I was assisting in building his Detachment and teaching him the game as well. My opponent had a British OORD Veteran Detachment. My Waffen SS move up on the objective. Followed by their Sergeant. The Vril Engineer prepares to upgrade the MG42. My Hell Host charges the Golem attempting to block anyone from getting to the objective. The Druid summons up a Green Man that enters the fray. In the end I scared off the British Paratrooper, killed the Druid and some Paratroopers, but lost my MG42 Team to a lucky Mortar hit. I was on one of the objectives and the Brits didn't get near the other one (except for the Golem and Green Man who were locked in combat with the Hell Host).

Nice... Seems your SS look pretty neat, but is it possible to get a closer look at them. From this distance it looks like you've gotten the Oakleaf camo down pretty good.

I'll have some close ups of them shortly. I just unpacked them and finished Dullcoting the rest of my Wehrmacht the other day.

Later that day we had the AE-WWII Tournament. My first game my SS was paired against my former ally csr556 with his Soviet Psi Experimental detachment. The scenario was A Bridge Too Far and I was the attacker. It started off well with me gunning down the Psi Cannon Team with my MG42 and supressing the Sniper. In the meantime, my Hell Host was trying to sneak around get the Psi Officer and Guards that were protecting the detonator for the bridge. My Officer and Schutzkommando were preparing to make the charge across the bridge and finish off the defenders. Then all of a sudden those damn Psi-Commandos make a charge and the bridge and hose down my officers with their PPsH SMGs. My Officer/War Hero takes 2 wounds from the barrage. I couldn't score enough hits on them due to that Clouded Minds. That was pretty much the turning point in this battle. Then they spray my Waffen SS and Vril Engineer. Pretty much the rest of my detachment routes. My Hell Host gets gunned down to finish the game.

Great images and report. Thanks for the update, since I couldn't be there. The fence in this image, who makes it or where did you get it?

Those fences came from a Lemax Christmas Village set at Micheals Craft Store.

I want to see more shots of the figs as well. The Mad Doktor conversion to the V Enginer looks great.

Well the next game I played in the Tournament was against Beermonkey's US Tank Detachment complete with a Tumbleweed and a Buffalo. The scenario was Scattered and I got to be the attacker. I made sure to put his Tumbleweed deep into some pretty heavy terrain and that the Mechanic was way away from both the Tank and the Buffalo. Unfortunately the play area was smaller than 4 x 4, which meant my detachment could only deploy in one corner, due to the 10" distance I had to maintain from his units. As it turned out his GI Squad, Mechanic and Airborne Officer were fairly easy pickings. The GIs didn't go down as easy as I had hoped though. The Hell Host charged into them and took one's head clean off. The other two guys ganged up on him and rifle butted the demon back to Hell. They went down with my Officer and Schutzkommando gunning them down however. By the time the Tumbleweed worked itself out of the maze and the Buffalo trudged along. I was able to get my Schutzkommando to walk up and tank assault the Tumbleweed. His successful tank assualt allowed him to stick his MP40 into the starboard gunners port and kill the gunner. The next turn he killed the driver and and with the artifact he was carrying, the port gunner routed and bailed on the tank. The Buffalo creeped forward more and my Vril enhanced MG42 failed to wound it. The Shutzkommando gets zapped by the Buffalo and dies. My Vril Engineer then enhances the hand grenades of the Waffen SS squad up in the second floor. The grenades miss and the Buffalo zaps them right out of the building. Furthermore the Buffalo zaps the Vril Engineer and the MG42 Team sending the surviving models running right off the board. I nearly won that game and ended up loosing it all. However I did have the honor of breaking Beermonkey's 'broken' Tumbleweed.

My third game was The Last Patrol, I never got the name of my opponent however but he was fielding another Soviet Psi Experimental Detachment. I ended up as the Defender and decided to choose my Schutzkommando as the objective model. I knew it was a risk as I had drawn the card that I had to keep all of my Occult models alive (although he's a Specialist, I'm not sure if that would count then). Given the swamp in the center and that my Veteran Schutzkommando was armed with a magic sword and an MP-40 he could hold off the commies as they trudged through the swamp in an attempt to engage him in CC. Good thing there weren't any Chumans in his list. The Schutzkommando held off the Soviets for a while killing one or two. However, my opponent realized he wasn't going to make the primary objective and decided to open up and kill the Schutzkommando. Not only did he do that but pretty much moved across the board and killed everyone else as well.

Just one quick correction tom, I'm not Noble hero, I'm csr556 on the forums.
I had to use the Keep Moving order to get my Psi Commandos in place to kill your Officer and schutzKommando. After losing my psi cannons and seeing the HellHost, those (2) models were primary targets.
I also want to thank everyone who showed up for both tournaments.

lovely tables and figures. Whats not to like.
May I ask where the buildings are from? the ones in your last post. Some looks to made of thick cardboard?
I also noticed that you got some Victory force minis, how do they look next to darkson designs?
