So I am going to start painting a Soviet PSI force to crush Matt with. First off I am going to paint up 3 Chumans. The first one is already done: The other 2 are almost done. I have also started to clean a Soviet Starter Force in preparation for priming them. I encourage you guys to start up your painting blog so we can follow the progress of your force. Cheers, Robert

A little lag in painting as I had some commissions that I had to finish. I hope to be able to get some work on them on Monday after I finish up with my Duty weekend at the Air force base. No rest for the wicked I guess. ;D

We have been so slammed at the office getting the Occult stuff in high gear, playtesting, getting sculpts and occult concept art as well as getting ready to leave the country for almost 3 weeks(Military stuff!!!). I haven't had much time to do any painting. I did get a chance to get my Chuman Parent put together though. ;D I used a PSI Officer body with the fur cap Chuman head he is equipped with a PPSH. ;D Fun and simple conversion. I guess if you want me to stop with the Occult stuff I can get more painting done.

They look excellent, will stand out on the table. I really need to get some vallejo skin tones as yours have come up really nice, GW paints (dwarf flesh specifically, lovely colour but...) always goes on too thick.
What brand flat varnish do you use? Mr. Hobby Flat Matt Topcoat has always worked out well for me.

I'm jealous, wish I could paint three figures to that standard in four hours, cause they look really good.

Today I built a Soviet Starshina from a Soviet Guard body and the PPSH arm set from the PSI Officer blister. Also I built 4 Soviet Guard.
Finished painting the Starshina and almost finished 2 more Guard.
I need to finish up the 4 that I built today and than get cracking on the 6 Chumans.
All of these Soviets plus whatever else Matthew wants me to paint will be the miniatures we will be using at Gen Con. ;D
