For Bounty would you guys want to have Starter Crew Packs avaliable? These would range from 2 man crews up to the larger 15-20 man crews?

YES!
Starter crews would be great. Wyrd did that with Malifaux and it was a big help. My LGS likes it too because it reduces the number of SKU's they order and track in stock.

hmm thats a very good question, i'm split because part of making the crew is that it can be a variety of races working together. OR it can be just one race going for a mono-theme sort of crew.
have you given any thought to "starter box"? Where it is rules and possibly 6 miniatures (3 for each player) as a sort of starter/quick play?

I like both the idea of a starter pack and starter crews. i would suggest keeping it small, say 2 to 6 figs per pack.
Once you start getting above that, price will start to play a part and some people may not buy it, especially if they don't want certain models.

Selling a group of bounty minis together would certainly save on packaging and make it easier to market. Maybe include a pre-made crew insert that has the stats for the guys and their weapons using those minis (basically a slightly more detailed version of what is in the AE starters, - the starter rules since you can just buy the bounty book itself).

I'd love some mid-sized starter kits (4-6 models, maybe with a weapon sprue thrown in). That would be pretty sweet, especially as you could start playing 2 vs. 2 games right away.

We will make a few packs to test the waters. They will only be available on the Darkson Site. We may even do a poll so you guys can create the Crew Packs. More hands on from you guys to get you what you want. Cheers, Robert

nice, i was going to suggest that but I wasn't sure how exactly that would work or if it was feasible at the time.

What we will do is post the first 10 Bounty miniatures and we will see how you want them paired up. We will than run a poll to see which crews you would like to see packaged together.
The way the rules are for bounty you can go off of how the miniatures look and build a crew from there.

I agree. Having a starter pack gives you a core of minis to base your collection around, 4-6 being a good number. As was said earlier, this number also allows you to start playing 2-person games right away.

Is there any estimate of when these starter packs or initial minis releases will be launched?

They will be avaliable for pre order at the same time as the Bounty book. The Bounty book will be avaliable by the end of the year. Two book in one year is rough but we will get it.
