Had a great game last night in a 3-way battle, but ran into a few questions we were not sure and it all has to do with those pesky Reds.
1.) Does clouded minds affect unintelligent beings like the Golem?
2.) Will clouded mind affect your own troops? Example: Psi officer is in CC with the Golem, Soviet player chooses to shoot into CC, rolls badly and hits his own guy will the Psi officer get the +2 cover from his own troop?
3.) Does the snipers Crack Shot ability negate the clouded Mind ability? Crack Shot says negates +2 to cover, while Clouded Mind gives the officer +2 cover.
Thanks everyone in advance.

Also does clouded minds affect ranged attacks from Robot Troopers?
The last time we played with clouded minds, a Psi Commando got hit by a deviated artillery round. We ruled that CM did not apply towards unintended hits. Is this correct?

After much deliberation, here's the ruling from the Crew:
Clouded Minds DOES affect unintelligent beings like the Golem. In the case of a dog, it's messing with their ability to perceive the world. In the case of a Golem, it's messing with his master's ability to see what his creation is doing.
As for random fire, indirect fire and deviated fire...Clouded minds does NOT affect the shot. In order for Clouded Minds to work, the attack has to be focused on the target with the ability.
Crack Shot and Clouded Minds cancel each other out.
Great questions. Keep'em coming.
Cheers,
