If one picks a Heavy Weapons Team in their Campaign Detachment, do they have to pick the weapon (HMG, Flame Thrower, Bazooka, etc.) and stick with it throughout the campaign? Or do they get to select it prior to each battle?
Also what about optional weapons, where the the model may choose between two weapons or trade up for a support weapon?
I ruled that the optional weapons and support weapons could be selected prior to each battle as some support weapons have a minimum Infantry requirement (like the BAR). Also these weapons are light enough that it could be assumed that spares could be brought along and used as needed.
However, Heavy Weapons might be another story as they're bigger and such.
Am I right, or are Heavy Weapons teams pretty flexible?

We'd appreciate it if you can get back to us before Friday. Our campaign starts this Saturday and I'm getting hit up with last minute questions.

Heavy weapon choices should be consistent throughout a campaign. You would not be able to change MOS's during a tour. I would agree about the support weapons as something like a B.A.R is easy enough to pick up on the fly.

If you guys are already playing the other way roll with it and let us know if it makes the HW unfair.
Feedback is always good.
