Hi, Just got my rulebook the other having having to pay almost as much in customs - btw I love it, this has been worth the wait and is close to the perfect rulebook. I've been reading the armylists, and noticed that the something in the pirate list that made me stop to think. Do you really need one crewman choice for each other choice you make? This seems to severally limit the options available to pirate crews if it is the case. Also while I've been reading the book, I've come up with a few things that would be great to have - smoke grenades, and robot alien type ala exterminator. Any chance we'll see them, or should I write somehting up for Over the Wire? Duncan

Please let us know what we can do to work with the system where you live and get your stuff to you sooner and with less hassle. RE: Pirate Crewmen, yes, you do. But if you increase the Crewman unit level to Regular, you get 2 other choices. So, for example, take a standard crew template. You have one veteran slot (for the captain), three regular units, one green unit. You can sacrifice the green selection to upgrade the captain to Elite, take a regular crewmen unit and fill the other two regular slots with whatever selection from the list you want. There are lots of permutations, but the big focus on a pirate list is a lot of models. So, you need to take the unit of 3 crewmen to fill out the list. RE: Other factions and crews...oh yes. Many things are planned. You'll start seeing some of them soon. More robots are coming. More gear options than you can fit on Fett's Mandalorian Armor are in the works too. Feel free to post ideas on the board about new crew types and factions. You never know what might happen. After all, we didn't even mention most of the details in the map at the rear of the book in the background. You don't even know what's lurking in the Pride Zone, or who the Thradii are, or what sort of mischief goes on in Slaver Space. But, very soon, you'll know a whole lot about the San Jacinto Compact. Cheers, Chris

Now that starts to Sound very interesting! I can't wait to hear more and thanks for the clarification. I'd come to that conclusion after reading the thread on two man crews. Duncan

You need to make it explicit that the Captain doesn't count as one of the unit choices that needs a Crewman choice to support it, then. He's certainly a "non-crewman" choice, and by the book should require Crewman support, even if he is a mandatory choice. The example you're using has a single Regular Crewman group supporting 3 other slots (counting the Captain), which is technically incorrect.
The intention may be clear to you, but it's not spelled out well.
