Hi, Just wondering if there's plans for a european retailer? I had to pay almost as much in import tax as the book was worth, and a few of my friends are interested, but put off by the cost of import. Duncan

I'd love a European source for the books too. I certainly plan to purchase all the books you guys produce wether imported or not, but it would definitely widen the appeal amongst friends and gaming clubs if the books and miniatures were more easily available over here.

That is harsh. Shows devotion, though. You should get an extra free guy for that.

Oh it gets worse, that was JUST for the pressie off the Mrs.
My Bounty Miniatures Order hasn't turned up yet - I'm expecting the same again (so £25+ for the total) in customs fees!

That is odd. I don't recall any extra fees when I order stuff from the UK (Forge World and ebay stuff most recently.) Maybe it is just on your end? Still sucks, though. What about receiving personal packages from friends over seas? Still the same deal?

I've only ever had this happen when I've made a Webstore Order, its the reason I haven't bought the Occult AE-WWII supplement yet - it (potentially) end up costing me over £40 for one Book!

We are working on getting the books shipped from Europe. As for the miniatures we are still working on it.

What pisses me off most about the Customs thing is how they seem to "pick on" the average joe rather than those actually commiting crimes.
There is a guy lives in my Street who brings in a seemingly endless supply of Cigarettes and then sells them on cheaply to anyone who knocks on his door - he is blatantly breaking the Customs Laws for the UK and getting away with it!
Whereas average gamer-types are paying through the nose for their gaming-fix just because Customs feel like opening harmless packages to check them needlessly.
And don't get me started on the "Royal Snail" - my Bounty order was split in two, I ordered some Miniatures whilst Linda (my Mrs) ordered the Book and a couple more Figures for me (as a pressie).
The Stuff Linda ordered has turned up (with the £12.73 customs charge Grrr) but my order is no-where to be seen - even though they were posted at the same time.
So I either have -
A - Another Customs Charge coming.
or
B - The fact the Royal Snail have screwed up and lost my order!
- To look forward too, isn't Britain great (not).
Russ at Arcane Miniatures here in the UK is having all SORTS of problems with the Post at the moment.
Losing packages, items coming through damaged etc - seems like a nightmare!
