vehicles, crew and drive question

After my game the other night I have a question about vehicles and the effects of wounds and drive.


1. Does a vehicle take a -1 drive for every wound like an individual model or not if they have more than 1 crew. Or does it mater?


2. After a vehicle has been destroyed and the crew bails out (but hasn’t lost enough drive to route) do they take drive penalties from the lost vehicle they were in? If so, -1 drive penalties for the loose of one vehicle or a # of drive penalties based on the number of wounds the vehicle had.

Based on me asking the same questions...

Yep, they do take Drive penalties from losses from within their unit.
Yep, the Drive penalty is from the vehicle loss (and affects the whole detachment, not just the crew, as if the vehicle were the unit and not the crew. There is no Drive penalty associated with a dead vehicle crew once their vehicle is dead though.
