So, I have Bounty in my hands finally. After getting over the shock of it's teeny tiny size (a nice move by the way) I was pleased with my purchase and a veritable swarm of crew ideas popped into my head.
So, a few questions.
-Are two man crews really viable? I have in mind 2000AD inspired crews, one with Dredd and Anderson, the other Strontium Dog and Wulf. Will they get frustratingly shot to pieces by larger crews?
-If a model has say two weapons of the same type, such as a slug pistol and a slug rifle, and uses a gear choice to buy slug ammo, does it apply to one or both of the weapons?
-Hunter (human) is a valid choice?
-Are any updates for Over the Wire planned with some movie and fiction inspired crews/alien races/gear etc?
Allow me to say I am very impressed with the book. A similar format for an AEWWII Lite would be classy.

-Are two man crews really viable? I have in mind 2000AD inspired crews, one with Dredd and Anderson, the other Strontium Dog and Wulf. Will they get frustratingly shot to pieces by larger crews? In my experience it seems to depend on the mission and objectives. When it's about killing models they often don't seem to struggle that much (but be sure to 'take get up and shoot'). When it's capturing things, moving stuff, etc they struggle.
-If a model has say two weapons of the same type, such as a slug pistol and a slug rifle, and uses a gear choice to buy slug ammo, does it apply to one or both of the weapons? Good question, I'd say yes, but could be wrong.
-Hunter (human) is a valid choice? Definately! With the crews we've built it seems to be the most popular choice (though 'inspiring' comes strongly after)
-Are any updates for Over the Wire planned with some movie and fiction inspired crews/alien races/gear etc? There's the thinly disguised 'Critters' in the latest OTW with the BANE, but other than that, I'll let Darkson and crew answer as I've no idea. From our demo games this weekend, one question that came up a few times was of Alien like creatures, it's sort of possible to build, but not that effective.
Hope that helps, Duncan

You can sort of recreate your own aliens by using the equipment available. For example, an alien with multiple legs may have a gravity belt.
An alien with super sharp claws can be given the mono-wire ability to represent sawing through armor fairly easily.
Give an alien with thick skin one of the three types of armor, etc.
Trade in weapons for extra equipment.
You'll have to work with the rules a bit, but as long as you have fun and create something interesting, that's really the point, right?
Create your alien and write it up here so we can see them!

I was meaning more aliens from the films 'Alien' and 'Aliens', so totally close combat orientated and without ranged weaponry. Duncan
