Well pretty much everyone that makes 28mm WWII minis makes Tommys. Darkson Designs has been focusing more on the weird units that are unique to AE-WWII, as they are pretty liberal about using minis from other manufacturers. That's not to say that there won't be any in the near future but at least you don't have to wait for their production schedule to clear before playing the Brits. I recommend Warlord Games Bolt Action Miniatures. These are an excellent line of 28mm WWII minis in pewter and now in plastic as well. They are great sculpts and very reasonably priced. Their boxed sets are complete enough that for around $40 you can have enough models to make a conventional (no weird units) detachment with some options. Add a Darkson Designs Druid, Greenman and Golem and you have your weirdness. I just finished the Bolt Action British Paratrooper set. and added the Darkson figures and with a little creativity found a neat model from Reaper's Chronoscope line for my MoAA Operative. Just last week I purchased the newly released British Army in multi-piece plastic and wrote up a quick out of the box review here.

Tom is the patron saint of miniature ranges. When he dies, there's a curio box waiting for him in Michael's living room Tom is also right that plenty of companies already produce British WWII figures. Our current offerings are the Golem, the Green Man and the WWII Druid (my favorite). There are plans to expand that range, but we've already got a lot of irons in the fire for the Pacific. I expect you'll see a lot more British specific miniatures and sneak peeks from us in the run up for the British book. The weird options for Section Q and the MoAA are really cool Cheers, Chris
