The Red Father had spared no expense when it came to the development of these new "Sniper Rifles" they were lightweight, recoilless and high powered. The Russian sniper were now considered a high priority unit only those with hunting background were allowed to apply. The snipers were the troops that would protect the borders and the snipers were the ones to pay the highest price. When the Germans advanced the snipers were the first to encounter the "New Threat" the only thing that seemed to stop them was a round to the head. They were monsters and they just kept on coming...........

Hmmm... Interesting. "Recoilless" - does that mean recoilless in the conventional sense (tube launcher) or are you hinting at some superscience gun?

"hinting" is a good term. Russian snipers are being sent everywhere as they are the eyes of the "Mother Land".

Hmm, give those snipers perhaps some recording device or something like that so that the intelligence units back at the base can see what the snipers are seeing, taking this "eyes of the Mother Land" a little bit further. Also give them different types of ammunition, perhaps some chemical warfare, similar to the Virus unit from Yuri's Revenge.

No, they are just snipers who also give the Soviet intelligence a view of what's going on on the battlefields.

oh so slightly simmilar to cameras mounted on helmets in aliens. they give the commanders/officers who are back at the base a better veiw of whats going on in the battlefeild.
