When I read the introduction into the Storyline, I was wondering, how is the actual status of the Luftwaffe in 1946. I don´t mean the new wonderweapons (I know, there are too much cool real concepts from the end of war) but the numbers. It was said that the Luftwaffe actual is bombing England into the ground and that not even with rockets. So, in reality Hitler stopped the developement of new bombing Airplanes in 1943 until the Luftwaffe gains air superiority about the skies over Germany and beset France again. So, when they have developed new Bombers as it seems, they must have the air superiority minimally on the way from Germany to England.
Could you say something about how it is because without the 24h bombardment of the germany industry, there would be a giant space in the Background to introduce and explain wonderweapons be available even to the normal soldier.

While I'll leave the specifics of the Luftwaffe to the Core Rulebook, I think you'll see that most everything in AE WWII has degenerated into vicious stalemates and terrible battles of attrition. The Luftwaffe has developed V-4 rockets capable of delivering far greater payloads than previous versions, but the reliance on fighters and bombers is still key to the air superiority over Europe and the Eastern Front. The Luftwaffe has suffered exceedingly heavy losses and Allied air power is a significant threat to the Germans, however with advances in technology they hope to even the odds and reclaim mastery of the skies.
Again, you'll find lots more details in the Core Rulebook. I hope that this will ease your curiosity for the next few weeks until we get the book out for you. We're almost there!

There is also a big difference in the Luftwaffe's command structure in the AE setting, which would have made an enormous difference in the real war as well.
