in most enemy controlled countries ordianry peolple continue to fight. attacking soldiers, saboutaging fvehicles and forts, destroying feul dumps and airfeids, aiding the allies in any way the partisans are in small numbers and sneak around. the partisans could be a playable force or used with the allies. what do you think.

A question that has occurred to me also. I have picked up the 3 books but haven't cracked them open properly yet, but I couldn't see any specific mention of Partizan/Resistance forces - are there any plans along those lines?

You'll see the first partisan/resistance forces in the upcoming 'Black Reign' book which details the Pacific Island Campaign. Filipino Guerillas are an available addition to US forces and they are characterized by a few rules that reflect their ad-hoc nature.
Other such irregular forces will feature in other supplements down the line, and not always as members of the Allies or Comintern. There were some irregular Axis forces as well, such as the Forest Brothers of Lithuania and the Iron Guard in Rumania.

I am especially looking forwards to euro-centric partizans/irregulars down the line. Thanks for the reply.

We have lots of ideas for what to include. Next year's OTW should cover a few of the ideas we have for Europe. The next two books will deal with Asia mainly, and the British...well, we're still in negotiations for how big that book is going to be ;D

The French and Polish Underground movements will probably get much more detail than any other (alhough, if we come up with a cool hook, Tito's partisans would be another possible in this area), although the Maquisards will probably just be a sepearate element within the Free French Army, somewhat like the OSS to American Army relationship.
