German Heavy Weapons Team: How would you like to see these guys armed. What weapon options do you think they should have.

Futuristic MG-42/Mg-34, some sort of panzerfaust/shrek. I'd like to see them in teams, sort of like the imperial guard heavy weapons.

If we talk about heavy weapon teams, as opposed to squad support weapons, I have a few suggestions:
15 mm heavy machine gun.
20 mm light autocannon.
105 mm recoilless anti-tank gun.
120 mm mortar.

i would like to see newer versions of panzerfaust and mg-42/34. panzershreks are smaaler and would probably used by more mobile troops.

I would like to see these things on a large base, making each "weapon platform" look like a little diorama. Each platform having its own loader, gunner, ammo, sandbags perhaps, pulling vehicles (jeep) or horse.

Think, here possible something in style of sci-fi of 30-40. Yes, machine guns must be outright. German have an advansed science in WWII, may be evolve this detai: mans in black rubber cloaks equiped with strange devices with many wires and pipes, something looking terrible like flamer. Russians also have some sinister projects, may be NKVD ray gunners or something like Red allert tesla infantry. Weapons very hard for ordinary man wich using stationary or mounted on to power armour or vehicle.

we have already discussed that red-alert tesla guns will be with the american troops as doctor tesla actualy deserted to the us. But i wold like to see that russians had captured this technology and are another army that can use it.

American allies might have the option of buying American weapons... At a VERY high price.

OK, no problem. But Germans must have a real terrifing things If truely, i have not see a serious differents between two totalytarian regims Nazi and Stalin`s, both can have a terrible experiment and sinister futuristic weapon with nightmarelike effect

I see the Germans messing with genetics and cloning and searching for the ultimate artifact. So we will see more abominations of nature in the German army. I see the Russian army as a more experimental army with lots of Basic troops and some Hard as nails elite troops with test weapons.

Think, Russians as heavy weapon can have some psychotronic device, mindblender named "The voice of Lenin" or "Red alarm bell" - "Krasny nabat". This thing translate the postulates of World revolution into enemyes mindcore, provoke a madness and blood rage against ex comrades Stationar or mounted on vehicle. Germans can`t have this persudetron because they ideology not so flexible. German device just can inflict ordinary apoplexia and suffering death in terrible agony;D Sorry, overdose of "South park"

So a bit like propaganda speakers, but instead of inspiring troops it demoralises them? I really like that idea!

Flamethrowers are Engineer-carried, and not crew-served heavy weapons in this sense.
