Sounds cool, but what is a 'ni-mortar'?
Another idea might be a Japanese sniper, only thing is that they are way more dangerous than their Russian counterparts, not because they are so accurate but because the sniperrounds are filled with viral agents and/or poisons which are capable of infecting the hit target. The target who has been hit will eventually contaminate the rest of his unit with the disease, hence infecting the entire unit.

Well I dont know how powerful it was, but you sound as if they are over powered...we could power them down a bit, perhaps infecting them on a different level. For example that the target who has been hit will die, and the rest of the squad would become slower or weaker, something in those lines.

Yes, this was a terrifing thing. Infection fly from one orc to all nearest greenskins...A half of the table was full of dead bodies. Damn, we must clear the table with "fairy" after it ;D So, do you remember "Resident evil"? What about transformation in terrifing monster? Will be enough a mad guy & SMG in the rear of squad.

its one of those days again ;D
I think that we shouldnt make it that extreme, the poison wouldnt zombify or kill the rest of the infected unit, just weaken them down. This would also prevent the sniper from being too powerful which it already sort of is.

Think, the target must be selected on dice roll. On 5+ this can be a any target on the choice of sniper. If test failed - than random target.

Why like so? what about the sniper picking a target and then all models within a certain radius (pretty small radius...3 inches or so) would get infected.

Let's stay civil on the board, guys. Spirited discussion is okay, but let's remain friendly.
