I didnt know where else to put it so I put it here. This was simply an idea I had for quite some time for the game.
You first want to release the Germans and the Americans right? What about the basic bozed set would be the rulebook (basic rules and background) and the "first front" which would the front in which the Germans fight against the Americans.
Later on you would release supplements each one being a front where the war is fought. The supplement would include some specific rules for that area and armylists of the forces fighting there.
Then again later when this thing really starts to get going and you need new units etc you could post the rules for those new units online, however the player would still need the basic rulebook and the supplements. Perhaps also something like 'online supplements' for smaller fronts (North Pole for example).
Opinions?

exactly! I think we should have two books for the African campaign. One of them dealing with North Africa (large tank battles etc) and the other one more in the South with the Italians attacking the British colonies.

this is what ive been thinking. We could also have our own fronts like a south american axis rebels verses usa troops ala veitnam.

I think the South American front will be quite unique...sort of a Cold War thing, so the big powers would hardly have any direct conflicts there, but their allies would. So for example a pro US regime would attack a pro Axis country or the US would support guerillas against a socialist government. Stuff like that.

I think most would be pro US, remember that the US doesnt really care if the government who supports them is a brutal dictator, as long as they have a common enemy. But that is something that goes for all superpowers I guess Axis didnt really have that strong support in Latin America IIRC, most countries were allied.

This seems like a good idea but it would make tournaments difficult to run since each front would likely have a few interchangable units, but some unique ones as well. Perhaps in a tournament you could select a list from any front, but not mix multiple fronts together?

Remember GW's Armageddon Codex? it had several armylists which were used for the campaign, but also for outside games. So the Fronts books would have these armylists which you could also use for non fluffy games if you like.
