A simple but hopefully fun scenario
Breakthrough [planned] Offensive operations in your sector have commenced and the attacker is attempting to encircle the defending forces. The attacker is tasked with breaking through the defenders lines and secure a route for follow-up forces to use in their advance.
Set-up Players must decide which force will be the attacker and which will be the defender. If this is not agreed upon ahead of time, both players roll 1d6 and the player with the highest roll chooses. The table should include a road section that extends from the defender's table edge for at least 8". This is the access road that the attacker must secure
Primary Objective The attacker needs to secure the access road and ensure that it is safe from enemy counter-attack. Starting with the end of turn 6 if there are no defending units within 8" of the access road and there are attacking units on the road or within 8" of the point on the table edge where the road exits then the attacking player gains the primary objective. If at the end of turn 8 the attacker has no units within 8" of the road exit then the defender gains the primary objective.
Deployment The table is divided into halves with the defender choosing which half they will set-up in. The defender must place all of their units in their table half. The attacker then places their units within 12" of their table edge and not with 10" of any defending unit.
Scenario Rules Voluntary Withdrawal Terrain Feature: Road Turn Limit (8)
