Hey
Just thought I'd throw this out here as well. Me and two of my friends are planning a three way game soon. Myself and one of the others have played a couple of games, while it'll be the first game for my other friend as we're showing him the game.
So basically I was wondering whether anybody had some ideas of three ways, or something they've done in the past.
We were thinking either have 3 objectives near the middle of the board, and you have to control 2 of them.
Either that or have an objective that you have to hold for X number of turns.

You can run most of the scenarios from the core rule book and you should be fine.
When you are doing Activation. It would run the same as a two player game.
Turn 1: Player 1: Activate 1 unit Player 2: Activate 1 unit Player 3: Activate 1 unit
Player 1: Activate 1 unit Player 2: Activate 1 unit Player 3: Activate 1 unit
And so on till all units have gone than start turn 2.

Another option would be to have two players allied with each other and the third player using two detachments. I know it's not the 'royal rumble' you're probably thinking of, but another way three players can participate in a single game.
Scenarios like 'Foraging' could work well in three-player games without the need to change the objectives.
Robert's advice on activation works as well.
Let us know how it goes!

Yeah we probably would activate the units like that, go in a circle basically from whoever wins initiative, or whoever they nominate.
I did think about foraging, but my friend and I have already played it, and we found that because of where you have to put the tokens, most people just go for the ones closest to them, and little fighting took place. If we did it again we were thinking about actually having tokens specifically for each side, so you couldn't just grab whatever ones.
