Greetings, I found your web-site and wondered if you could help me. When I was young (back in the '70s) I remember an intrigueing series of model kits of futuristic power armor/robots set in a European Alternate WWII/WW III type setting in one of the better hobby shops in Phoenix AZ. I remember the kits looking rather plausible - not flashy like the later Japanese "mecha" genra. I think they were 1/48 scale, and I seem to recall them being of German manufacture. One of the kits bore a strong resemblance to the "Buffalo" miniature on the AE-WWII page. Was this possibly inspired by these old kits?
I know that's not much to go on, but do you know where I could get more information tracking these obscure kits down?

You are looking for SF3D which is what I also grew up with and is now also called Ma.K. The scale is 1/20 and 1/35. www.maschinenkrueger.com/Great site and he has written several articles for HM magazine. Hope this helps and welcome to the forum.

You can find them for sale on ebay and www.HLJ.com <<great service there. They are in 1/20th scale and can be posed any which way.
