I plan on being there at least on Sunday, maybe on Saturday too. I hope to get the majority of my Americans finished by then... hopefully that is. So I'd like to get in a game of two with ya.

Hot me up for a game of AE so you can smash one of the guys that created the game. I don't really want to know what "hotting" you up involves ;-)

It's typing on my iPhone while holding Rune.

It's typing on my iPhone while holding Rune. I wouldn't need to be holding a child to type that badly on an iPhone. :-)

It does take a bit of skill.

Is there going to be anybody there that weekend? I'd like to get a few games in. Darkson, I'll be there Sat. and Sun.
I'd like to play AE, but if no one is there I can find other things to do, just trying to get a feel of what to expect...

I will be there Sat. I believe Phil will be there Sun. It would be great to get a game in. You might even run into an SS force.

I've got events scheduled on Sunday at 10 (1 pre-registered so far) and at 2 (0 pre-registered so far). I'll be teaching and have plenty of German and American forces.

Hey Phil, I've registered for the 10am game. Is the 2pm game the same scenario? If not, I'll join that game as well Mike

It will be the same game. You could try using different forces...there will be 3 detachments on each side. Look forward to seeing you there!

Hey, Orccon was a blast and I have to publicly thank Robert and crew for coming to the convention. Robert was able to speak to a very small group and the AE WWII demonstrations on Sunday were VERY well received!! I have been cursed by several of my collegues and friends for bringing Robert and AE WWII to the convention, because now all of them are buying new books and miniatures in order to get into the game!! GREAT JOB Guys! Photos: I really hope that you are planning to return to the convention and hold more demonstration/events because people are asking for it!! Robyn

I better start clearing my calendar for Memorial weekend and Labor Day weekend.
Hopefully for the Memorial weekend con I can demo the Occult book and for Labor Day AE-Bounty.
I wonder if we can find enough players for one con or the other to do a tiny tournament. Gamers like tournaments, don't they?

lawndart! That would be great to set you up at the convention and attract even more attention to the game! Tournaments are always a mixed blessing. Yes, they generally guarantee you a number of games, but they tend to eat away at your time to play other games at the convention. I felt that Robert was more successfull at Gencon last year when he ran a good number of scenarios to allow people to try out the game by playing the different units and squads as part of the team. But if enough people have built their own squad/armies, then a small tournament would be in order to allow people to show off their own stuff. Tournaments are often nice if people are looking to compete for unique prizes and game support items, while scenarios are great to introduce old and new players to the game. Yours and your players choice, do both! Robyn
