Just wanted to make sure that everyone knows about the Strategicon Gaming Conventions held three times a year: - Presidents Day weekend - Mid February
- Memorial Day weekend - Last Monday in May
- Labor Day Weekend - 1st Monday of September
This is the largest gaming convention here in Southern California, with lots of Board Games, RPGs, Miniatures and Collectibles and card games. This year should be a blast, as we have invited Robert (as the designer of AEWWII and the DD Painting Guide to speak as a special guest at the convention. He accepted and we hope to schedule him for several talks in our presentation room, so here is your chance to see and hear him and ask him questions. He is also bringing along a demo crew who will be showing off AEWWII all weekend in the miniature hall! This Presidents day event the convention is hosting: - The Broadside Bash - the Pacific Marauder's Official Games Workshop GT
- Flames of War National Qualifier
- Paint and Take table
- Painting workshops
- Monsterpocolypse tournament
- Warmachine/Hordes Tournament
- Card Games
- Board Games
- Large Scale Miniature Battles
- Historical Miniatures
- Bloodbowl
- AEWWII
- and more
Pre-registration for all conventions begins at least one month prior to the events, with a discount for early online registration. Event registration generally begins one month prior to the actual event. The event is held at a hotel with discounts being given at the hotel for convention attendees. The convention is always looking for Game Masters, and if you run at least 8 hours of events with full participants, then your convention attendance can be reimbursed. I look for to seeing everyone there Robyn

So Robert is scheduled as a Special Guest Speaker for the convention.
He is scheduled for 4pm, Saturday, February 14th of the convention.
Robert informs me that a Partison is scheduled also to demonstrate the game to anyone who would like to check it out and we have several of the vendors who are coming to the exhibitor area carrying AE WWII also.

I've submitted two games for pre-registration (10 and 2) but I've got to think I'll be able to squeeze in a couple of walk-ups.

As the lead game designer, I renew my objection to anything that eludes to the fact that Robert designs the game. Anyone who's played a game of AE-WWII with him knows the extent of his rules-knowledge. ;D

Anyone who's played a game of AE-WWII with him knows the extent of his rules-knowledge. ;D I'm getting better. I would rather check the book for the rule than tell someone the wrong answer. But anyway I am the Creative Director living the dream of working with a kick ass design/writers, wicked sculptors, a painter that has a true passion for Weird War, and an artist that is a Rock Star. Without these people AE would never have seen the light of day. I know I don't say it enough guys "Thank you very much for all of your hard work".

ok, I spread the word to our PR guys to change "lead designer" tag to "Creative Director".
Sorry not trying to cause angst in your crew, I was just trying to get the word out and work on increasing interest in the seminar!
