Why would you do that to us? Do you realize how hard it is to find decent 28mm late war GI's? Artizan are all early war and while Boltaction has many very cool minis they are all on the small size comparatively. I need GI's and I want to give you my money. Let me give you my money.

We do have an autowithdraw set if you would like to go that route. jk The GIs are 3 different sculpts: The Hardened Vet GI The Regular GI The Kid GI All three have packs that you can add or leave off depending on how you want them to look. The cool thing our sculptor did was make sure that the straps go front to back with no breaks so the fig looks fine with out a pack on.

Is there a baseball bat in the pack that I can add on or do I have to sculpt it?

YES. It is so hard to find late war regular US Army minis in the right scale that don't look jacked-up. These are very nice. I also like that the backpacks are removable. They are also more historical looking than the average Darkson stuff, which is usually at least a bit weird (I'm looking at you, Airborne carbines and assorted Thompson guns.) I will be getting several packs of these.

Soviet Conscripts 4 pack in the works. 1 male shooter, 1 female shooter, 2 of the same ammo carrier. All done by the same sculptor as the GI's. Very cool figs....

Honestly, I see a market outside of AE-WWII for these GIs, the artizan stuff is nice but they're still sculpted rather chunky.
I'll still be buying some artizan guys anyway to mix things up since there's only 3 poses, but I'm definitely getting 2-4 packs of these to fill out my US infantry needs.

Guys please keep your LGS up to date on the New Darkson stuff you want. They should than bug the distributors that they tend to order from which will than start asking us for the releases. Its the circle of life.

I'm special ordering a bunch of AE-WWII stuff from my FLGS that doesn't stock it regularly, mainly support units to complete my armies.
Is the preorder info for the Occult book and June releases at distributors yet?

I like the new GI figs, especially since they're one part. I like the airborne figs too, but at times they were a bit fiddly. Means I can fill out the rank and file with them.
If they're coming out in July I may hold off my order for a while so I can get them too, as unfortunately my FLGS doesn't carry AE-WWII.
