It would be possible to make cultists that also look like Soviet soldiers too, can't be that much harder than making monkeys that are clearly Soviet soldiers to a casual glance. Technically, the cultists aren't Soviet soldiers. They're partisans working with the Nazis against the Soviets. I'm sure they'll have a uniform, but I don't know how similar it will be to those worn by the Ruskies.

I rather agree with dboeren that the Hell Host looks a bit...dorky. It just looks awkward, like a man in a Halloween costume with a German uniform over the top. Most of the occult stuff so far has been cracking but this just doesn't do a thing for me. Personal opinion mind and it seems some do like it. I also agree that the Soviets need some more previews (or indeed the British). Currently the Germans have had the lions share of previews and whilst that's cool it would be interesting to see more for the Soviets. Or indeed more for the Brits. I imagine the Germans are probably rather more popular than the rest though so I'm not too surprised. Having both the ROA and SS must also mean theres probably rather more Axis than Allied stuff too. I feel a bit churlish saying that though, what with Robert being so busy.

You're correct of course, but they are still likely to wear some sort of uniforms so their allies can recognize which Russians to shoot and which not to shoot. They can still have funky Rasputin hairdos, beards, and giant pentagram medallions on top of those uniforms. When I first heard there was a way to mix German and Soviet models in one army it sounded like a dream come true, but now I'm not so sure I like the ROA guys. Anyway, here's hoping we get to see some pictures soon for the normal Soviet force that are as cool as all the fantastic stuff the Germans and Americans are getting.

One of the reasons you are seeing a lot of Weird concepts is for the Historical elements we used Real Historical photos and that just does not seem like something to post when you guys want Concept art. See above.

I dunno, I like the Hell host just fine. Also keep in mind that you can play it as a straight historical skirmish game and remind your friends of that. I have several lists that have no weird war elements in them at all and are still perfectly competitive.

The lists from the Occult Expansion have a lot of Historical troop types thats why we are previewing the Weird elements as we did not need to do Concept Art for Standard Historical Troops.
Just like the Core Rules Factions you will be able to play an entirely Historical list if you want or you can play a Weird list. Its all up to each player.

Is the cool base topper that is shown in the German "One Man Army" mini included? The sewer pipe set-up looks really neat.

Is the cool base topper that is shown in the German "One Man Army" mini included? It looks a bit like the ones available from Wyrd Miniatures.

I've got to admit I like the new models, especially the one man army figure, and can only hope if it's a generic hero type, we get an equally cool figure for the Americans and Brits for the one man army.
Since there's mention of normal troop types as well in the Occult book, any chance of telling us what they're going to be?

See now I'm really intrigued and would quite like to see the art for it.
