psi officer kellyov was anxious, this wasnt going to be easy, the Gestapo had been seen in the area and dr Klomp was rumoured to be skulking in the town hall.
"we will escort helga through tomorrow at dawn..........i will request airbourne reinforcements to capture areas ahead of us. said politruk gustav.
"prepare for our departure.........and for gods sake put that crystal ball down!"

so first turn the germans had set up a thin line of troops across the table and the soviets set up the commandos.politruk, guards and the sniper protecting the VIP. the soviets set up on on corner of the table so they could smash through a weak point in the german line.
wermacht set up in a building ready for the reds, unfortunatly they are on the wrong side of the board and spend most of the game trying to get into it!
the elite officer finishes a long island ice tea before being blasted by the commandos in the first turn
this is how the soviets set up (the german officer in the background)
the schwimmwagen tears forward and unloads the gestapo agents who pull there pistols and blast the sniper who takes a wound and decides to fire his pistol back at them before pulling back to the safety of his detachment.
turn 2 sees a unit of guard, the ATrifles and the psi officer all parachute in into forward positions. the guards that dropped in get shot at by a unit of wermacht and take a casuality and the jeep hits reverse and tries to hit the remaining 1 thats left but he jumps out the way twice. the gestapo rake the other guard detachment with mp40s and take one of them out in the fire fight,
meanwhile the rest of the soviet troops rush forward!
turn 3 sees the german wermact pulling forward and taking a wound from the psi officer that dropped in last turn. the psi officer retaliates by killing one of the wermacht.
the psi officer is actually in the blue doorway (wrong pic damn)
the ATrifle fire at the crazy jeep but fail to damage it. the jeep then speeds towards the VIP and tries to ram her butfails a handling test and crashes into a wall. the mad doc jumps out, closes his eyes and unloads a pistol in the direction of the commandos but nothing happens so he injscts himself and his shirt suddenly gets tighter as he gains 2 strength ready to charge next turn!.
turn 4 sees the sniper taking out a wermacht and the guardsman that dropped in and avoided the jeep kill the remaining wermacht. the driver of the jeep has about a thousand rounds fired at him until the atrifle eventually takes him out. the gestapo and 1 wermacht are all thats left and rout. the soviets achieve there primary and second obbjs ( the second being assassination of the elite officer in the first turn). the germans pas there secondary obj aswell by getting the abominations (gestapo) off the table in 1 piece. nobody got the attrition rate so it turned out an minor victory to the reds............yay
