My friend the programmer had told me about Paint.net before. I finally downloaded it and it is a lot better. I went back and cleaned up the pictures and will post them shortly. New: Didn't want to double post (forum etiquette is important!) and I wanted to share this comic I found: www.viruscomix.com/page463.html

New comic is up. I considered making a joke about them canceling the Army Air Corps Combat Photographer hero type due to them being worthless but some people may not get the good-natured inter service chops busting and take it as me just being mean. But any how, enjoy the new comic and good luck, Rob.

Sorry about there not being an update this week, I am in the middle of a Marine Corps Martial Arts class and it is kicking my ass. I have the pictures to prove it. Next week will be extra epic and break the three panel mold. On a side note, go and buy the new Sevendust album. They came and played a free show here a few days ago and were very cool. They passed out a lot of free stuff (CD's, drum sticks, picks, etc) and spent hours after the show signing autographs, shaking hands, taking pictures with the service members and did not leave until every one had been through. I think they visited with everyone the day after as well because I saw them in the chow hall at dinner (I work nights so was asleep most of the day). All and all, very cool.

A sadistic Sergeant and his minions. The actually moves aren't bad, it is mostly the other activities in the hot sun and sand that are doing me in. Such as ground fighting in the sand rather than the nice AC dojo on mats. If you want to see some of the moves you could probably look it up on you tube, just search for MCMAP. It is a green belt class, but you have to go over the previous belts first, of which there are two at this level, tan and grey. That honestly took longer than the green section. It just kills me that we could probably be done and tested within a week but they stretch it out into two.

Sounds like fun! Except for the long drawn out part...
I've trained with the guys who developed parts of the marine martial arts program and I was just curious about what you were doing and if it was anyone I knew.
Ground fighting in the sand? Never thought about that. With or without your gear on? Otherwise, it would probably feel better than doing it on concrete with broken glass!

Cammie trousers and T shirts were our gear. I got mine today, though. We had stand up sparing and I push kicked someone in the chest and yelled "THIS... IS... SPARTA!!". But then I felt kinda bad about it because he was on his hands and knees. But still, how many times do you get a chance to use that line after you kick someone like in the movie?

New comic up on the front page. This one defiantly took the longest of all the others but I think the extra work was worth it. More monkey-themed bad humor next Sunday.

I'm glad everyone liked it. I optioned the film rights to Ron Howard, I just told him it was a true story. Look for 'Summer of Monkey Love: '44" in theaters this holiday season.

This is the kind of demented thinking that comes from too much table top war games and martial arts training... And it's awesome! ;D Any chance we'll see these characters develop? Maybe the sturmaffe and the chuman can take the lead roles in an indy version of Beach Blanket Bingo?

As long as Ron cast Tom Hanks as the Sturmaffe, I'd see that movie
