Will anyone be doing a demo there/here? I'm sure it would be received well.

Comic con isn't that much of a gaming locale. While there is some, and the market is good, there isn't much space set for people to play and people don't go where looking for new games to play.
Instead, try Penny Arcade Expo, aka PAX towards the end of the year. You'll get gamers of all sorts willing to try, and buy into, new miniature games. Despite being video game focused they have a big presence for tabletop games in general.

I'd be all over Comic Con, not that me being in San Diego has anything to do with that.... ;D

You are in SD? Where do you game? Just a few places here anyway. For SD being so large it is a bit lame for gaming locations

I'll be at comic con this year, so if anyone wants to meet up, for a game or for food and drinks, it should be fun.

San Diego is down to two stores at this point:
In old town you have a store and north of town you have the Game Empire.
Both are very active and vibrant stores, though.
I know that I'm heading down to SD on Friday night for the weekend!

There is another one in Vista, Pair a Dice Games...It has a game room abit bigger than Old Towne. Mira Mesa has one, but its mostly CCG right now. But they are open to anyone wanting to play miniatures there.
