So for December we will be painting Green selections. These can be Historical or Weird Green selections. This contest will be open the entire month of December. Voting will happen in Jan 2010.
This will be the start of using all Darkson miniatures unless we do not make a model for a selection you want to paint. (We will try this out and see how it works)
Get to painting and good luck.
Cheers, Darkson

Let's pretend I'm not very smart, and I don't know what a Green is?
And, also, let's pretend that pointing and laughing at me causes baby seals to die.
Could someone help me?

It's the Training Level of the Troop type. These contests have been themed to troop types. So pick any troop type that's a Green training Level and have a go painting it.
I really need to have a go myself.

For the Core rule book some Green selections are: American: GI GI Heavy weapon team Robot Troopers Soviet: Conscripts Chumans Germans: Volkstrum Emaciated Troopers See no pointing or laughing. You could also paint up green selections from the Occult book.

I figured it was a troop type, but didn't want to make a fool of myself (that'd be a first!)
I've got a bunch of these unpainted models!
Can I enter more than one?

I think I'd give my left teste if I could take better pics. Here is my 'Green Troops' Robot Troopers! It's hard to notice, but the eye and chest lenses are RED, WHITE, and BLUE in order.... I'm trying to get some of the emaciated dudes done, but the holidays and the clock are conspiring against me!

Very nice. I hope to get some painting done over the next 4 days. Its a big hope but I think I earned it doing an AF mission at the last min.

Wedding planning and holiday trips and the like didn't leave me with enough painting time to finish the fine details like I wanted, but you can get the idea on where I was going with this. Anthony Stark's heart condition kept him out of the war, initially. But as the dark days lengthened, ARPA knew it couldn't let his undeniable talent go to waste on the home front. Those pesky 'personal issues' (mostly involving too much alcohol and overly friendly local women) keep him from rising too far in the organization, but he's got some clever ideas he's looking to test out in the field... (And yes, I know I need a better pic. If it is any consolation, I was originally going to have to post this one.)

Man, that is a great looking Chuman. I really like the shading on the uniform.
