This month we will be painting an AE Hero Type. Have fun with this one and feel free to add Fluff and background to your Hero.
Cheers, Robert

Darkson minis only this go around? Or is that the regular rule now? Sorry been a few months since I've had time to get an entry together, I hope to for this one.

Would be nice to see some Darkson figs but it's normal rules so it's open to all.

Hm. I had initially intended to utilize a Bolt-Action Airborne, but on second thought, why not a Darkson British Druid Pathfinder? Although not the most 'effective,' surefooted and the extra move would certainly be useful for all the running around in dense forests the Druid does. All the better to unleash Greenmen and other Wooden Death! The question is...Staff or Hippy-Magic-Stone?

Roflmao, wooden death and hippy stones! ;D Cool cool, I ask because I have a converted mini for this go around I made for my One Man Army type, sadly not a Darkson but a GW+Pig Iron construction. Something about germans in heavy power armor I prefer over green-peace... magicky... stuff...

I would go with the Magic stone as the staff would slow him down in the forest.

Get to painting as we have less than a week left. I got some master cast of some figs over the weekend looking for a home.

My Druid is finished, but unbased. I've got a cool 50mm base with some magicky stones, so I guess I'll just put him on that for now.

Fine! I'll go first. I just finished him a few days ago. Converted from GW plastic marine bits and Pig Iron metal bits. He's an SS officer in power armor, radio equipped to communicate with his kampfgruppe, and carrying a scoped "MP46." My army theme so far is just the Heer itself. The Heer interests me because they never seems to be able to benefit form the SD's crazy science, since the SD keeps it in-house and closely guarded, nor does the Heer benefit from the SS occultism (which also seems closely guarded) and probably too unpredictable to use reliably on the field. I wanted to come up with something the Heer could count on for regular use on the field that was still fun and weird war. Besides, it's not fair that the Americans only have power armor This is the second power armored german I've made. I've also written some background and am working on a short story about how it came to be, etc. Making a gallery thread at long last, too, and I'll stick all the extra stuff in there.
