Ok, sooooooo... ... Still having loads of trouble getting hold of a copy of the rulebook here in the UK! But! I have been digging around in the old 'lead pile' and have managed to salvage the following: Four Volkssturm armed with rifles (Musketeer Miniatures BCW militia) One Volkssturm armed with a SMg (also Musketeer) Two Hitlerjugend armed with Panzerfausts (bolt Action) Three Waffen SS veterans armed with STg-44's (Bolt Action) Waffen SS MG-42 team (also Bolt Action) Three late war German Infantrymen armed with rifles (Artizan) Late war Germany army sniper (Artizan) Late war German NCO (also artizan) Can I make any kind of game legal detachment with these guys? Can I add the Panzerfausts to the Volkssturm squads (three guys to a squad, is that correct? Does the Panzerfaust replace one of the regular guys?). Is there an option to take a SMg in a Volkssturm squad or can I use this guy as a leader type? How many STg-44 armed SS could I use in a squad? Hope you guys can help, without having even seen a copy of the book I'm struggling to maintain the 'enthusiasm'! ;D

Hi,
You can definitely make something legal with those minis. And most players don't mind if you bring some proxies to the board too, so feel free to try any of the model in the lists you want.
Of course, that presumes you can get access to the rules and the lists for the factions in the first place.
If you can't find a copy of the core rule book to buy in the UK, try Cipher's on-line store. All of the rule books should be for sale on their website.
If that doesn't do it for you, you can buy a PDF copy of the rulebook and download it from Wargames Vault.
Absent those options, in the near term, the basic quick start rules will be up on the new website shortly. The quick start rules are fine for small detachments and will help you to understand the basic mechanics of the game.
I hope this helps!
Feel free to post on the forum if you're still having issues getting the book in the UK.
Cheers,
Chris

FYI, the new website is up and the quick start rules are on the down load page.
Let us know if you have any problems with them.
All the Best,
Chris

Firstly, the website is looking good, glad ton see 'Over The Wire' available again! ;D Secondly, just missed out on a copy of the rulebook on FleaBay! I don't think I'm destined to get a copy at all... started looking at alternative (free) rulesets to start me off (the free AE-WWII rules look good but don't match the models I have!)

Go to Wargames Vault and you can download the rules for half the price of the rulebook, you don't pay for shipping, and you get it right away.

Cheers for the advice guys! Downloaded the PDF rulebook from Wargames Vault last night and now have my first detachment sitting in front of me waiting to be based and painted!

No time soon. You can get it direct from the web store as we ship all over the world. With the exchange rate you should still get it at a great price.
