Thanks, it's a fire demon from that Anima Tactics game. Their figures are generally way too big to blend in with others, but as this one isn't strictly human it works just fine I think.

I totally stole the idea for using this miniature from CmdrKiley and his thread here. I have no shame. Thanks for the idea Now I have a Krieghexe.

Ah, and they say that's the best form of flattery. ;D Great job! I see you either didn't have the mold release line or caught it and cleaned it up ahead of time.

There was a huge mould line yes, but I caught it in time. I always try to find every last one of the damn things, but some of them always seem to hide somewhere and reveal themselves when you paint the mini, grr. Newest, or oldest, depending on how you look at it, recruit is a Draug (no 'r' in modern danish ): I haven't seen anyone else paint up one of these, actually I haven't seen anyone so much as mention them? I think they are really cool, but I guess they aren't really that amazing. Floating around and booh'ing at people is very nice and all, only hitting on 5+ is not that hot, but when it disregards cover it kind of evens it out I think (though I haven't crunched the numbers). Not to mention disregarding LoS. Any thoughts?

Thanks It's actually a french WWII model from Bolt Action, I snipped the head off and replaced it with a german WWI pickelhaube head from Westwind. The model was the closest thing to something with a greatcoat and lots of gear that looked trench-y and fitting for WWI that I had lying around.
