Just recently discovered AE-WWII and as a big fan of everything weird war II-related and an even bigger fan of everything with werewolves in it, I just had to get my hands on this game. The rules and the mini's are almost impossible to get a hold of in Europe (a couple of webstores shows them, but either it's only a couple of the first mini's or they don't have anything in stock, and Alliance don't have anything in stock for my LGS to order) and as I live in Norway (though I'm from Denmark) it takes ages to get anything from the US. But finally a packet arrived the other day with the first mini's I ordered and the rules should be on their way too. With a bit of luck I can convince some webstore to stock the game and whip up some interest for this greatlooking game in Scandinavia. I'm already thinking about some demo games for some of the miniature gaming conventions I normally attend. But enough of me rambling, here's the first of the miniatures I've painted (of course I painted this one first, I already want one or two more). The base isn't quite done yet, but I can't find my dead grass at the moment: More to come (if the postal service wills it).

Keep up the excellent paint jobs like that, and it'll catch on in no time.

I should not see it. I'm painting this mini for the contest and yours looks like very nice, pretty much more beautiful than mine ;D

Thanks for the positive comments, I hope I have much more to show you soon And I must admit I've entered the werewolf into the contest after you drew my attention to it...

Thanks Finally got a couple more mini's in my hands and painted one of them up today: Also, here's some non-DD figures I've been painting in an effort to get two-three playable forces as soon as possible: (Only to discover that the Vampire only has a pistol when I finally got the rulebooks *facepalm*) (I have no idea what I'm going to use her for, but it was a nice and cheap and available mini)

Nice work on the paintjobs.
I too have a mix of models in my collection. Who makes the Tommys? Nice figures with gas masks. I'm looking at some Bolt Action British Paras at my FLGS. I'll probably pick them up after Easter (I gave up buying minis for Lent).
Perhaps Ash can be a Druid casting a spell or an MoAA Operative that is generating a force field with her Pendant of Warding.

The poor bloody infantry is from Westwind, one of the better looking lines from them, but still rather fuzzy in the details (those hands leave something to be desired to say the least). The gas mask heads on them was what drew me to them in the first place, they are rather nice, yes. Looking forward to see some AE-WWII figures for the british some day though. Good ideas about the Ash mini! I already have the great druid from DD, but she could be a MoAA Agent with some creative explanation

Those are some awesome minis. I really like the Brits in particular. I just got mine from Artizan recently. Hope to paint them up after I finish my Space Wolves that I am currently franticly painting for a tournament later this month.

I totally forgot about this thread (and also got caught up in a lot of other gaming stuff on the way), but here's a couple of miniatures more: Massive sanity loss from trying to get those arms to fit on the body and one another with something resembling approximate human anatomy. I look at the box with unassembled americans and my soul shrivels in fear.

We will be revisiting the old sculpts and putting out new ones to support books as they come out. The line is now around 6 or 7 years old and we have learned a lot in that time.

Sounds good! I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on some of the stuff we've been seeing in previews. And I cross my fingers that there will be some amazing models for the Schutzkommando, Krieghexe, Vril Engineer and Hellhost at some point too And here's another mini I painted a couple of days ago:

I can say you will be seeing the figs you want in the next few months. Your figs are painted great.

Thanks a lot Here's a couple more, first something that I'm planning to use as a Djinni (well, Efreeti, but who's counting): ... and another werewolf. I just love this sculpt, it just might be the best werewolf mini ever made: I also want to make one with white fur, that's a good excuse to get one more.
