I've DL'd this game Hour of Glory and Bunkerstorm from Warmacre and the paper bunker kit but have yet to build it or play it. I've been thinking of rescaling it, such that the squares are a bit larger to accomdate 30mm bases rather than 25mm bases because I'd love to do a Weird War variant of it. Anyone else tried it yet? I've looked over the bunker kit PDF and it's quite detailed. Make a nice SD base where some crazy experiments must be stopped by Allied forces. Also I've just been informed my FLGS has just received the Incursion boxed sets today. If you haven't heard about it, it's sort of like a Weird War II version of Space Hulk. So how about an AE-WWII version of Space Hulk?

I've had this idea bouncing around in my head for a while. As we'll learn with Bounty, the AE rules work very well indoors; I'm not even sure if a fully differentiated ruleset is needed. The scarcity of action points and relative lack of hard cover indoors would make such an event very exciting.

I too was thinking of applying the indoors rules from Bounty. Hmm..should also be rules for ricochetting bullets in such enclosed spaces.

Rules should work, but maybe some additional restrictions. I don't think mortars would be handy, or rocket packs. On the other hand, flamethrowers just got awesome-r.
(And I'd hate to be the Wehrmacht squad stuck having to get past a Golem in a hallway...)
They also make some resin blast doors for Incursion, which are the bee's knees. Definitely on the shopping list.

The cool thing is you don't need to remake AE in order to play in bunkers, Subs, Crashed Alien Ships etc.... You use the same rules. Oh and the little squares on the game board just ignore those as real action does not tie you down to little squares.

Oh, if anything I'd like to remove the squares. It makes things too predictable to judge distances.
The one thing about scaling is that the hallways are 2 squares wide and designed for 25mm bases. That makes them about 50mm wide and a bit tight for a squad mounted on 30mm bases. So I'm thinking I may have to scale up the walls before I print them by 20%.
However I think some richochette rules might be in order for AE: WWII in very tight spaces. Not sure if Bounty already covers them.
Perhaps all misses are rolled again, any result of 6 results in a random model getting hit. Supression would get say an additional +2 modifier and must also roll as if all shots were missed. Any missed rolls that result in a 1, roll the d6 again. If another 1 is rolled, then a freak richotte results in the shooter getting hit.

You'd also need rules for the muzzle extension device the Germans used on the StG44 to shoot around corners...
