Since I am actually getting more painting done recently, I figure I will post pics here in one thread. I find it actually helps me stay motivated for painting. Start off with my SD Agent. Painted her last year. Dont really like her base anymore, but too lazy to change it. No idea why this is sideways... Is right side up everywhere else... Keeping with the SD, here is my Blattsoldat conversion, as I couldnt wait for the official model. What is a SD force without Feuersoldaten? Weak. Weak I say. I didnt want to do the blue skin, so I went with a gray tone.

Next up are the Wehrmacht units. Next is my Wehrmacht or Volkssturm Officer. I just finished him today. I didnt want to paint him in black, as that is more of a SD or SS thing. I like how he turned out. Cant go wrong with a sniper. Painted in Wehrmacht Sniper camo. I call her Helga Keine Hinterteile, as she has no butt to speak of. She is my Wehrmacht with Panzerfaust when I need to crack open a Buffalo. Yes, she has swastika pasties (or is that a tattoo?). Finally, here is the Soviet style bunker I made.

Looks fantastic man! Love the Wehrmacht officer and the ash tones of the Feuersoldaten!

They look great. I have to agree with Cilionelle, the Officer is my favorite, too.

Decided to paint up a couple Bounty Hunters for the monthly contest. Unfortunately, I dont have any DS figs yet, but plan to. These guys are from Hydra Minis Retro Raygun line. I needed a space chimp, what can I say. Chim’tel’var’len (Chim for short), was born into a life of wealth and privilege. Part of an influential lawyer’s Troop, Chim was raised believing that the law was the most important thing to society. Handsome and athletic, Chim was expected to continue the family line and settle into a life of legislation. This came to an end with the terrorist attacks of Reista. Arlon Xanth was a notorious criminal who was apprehended in Simsinia Space and set to go to trial for his crimes. He was sure to be found guilty and executed. His crew had other plans though. Targeting the prosecutors and judges on Reista, Xanths crews systematically killed their way to him, freeing the Burglar Captain and fleeing into space. As the smoke cleared, Chim found himself wounded but alive. The same couldn’t be said about his troop though, as all were killed when their colony-house was blown up. It would take months of recovery before Chim was able to leave the hospital. That time was not wasted, as Chim used his inheritance to purchase a ship, weapons, and crew. Gaining a Writ of Bounty from government friends, he was now a legal Bounty Hunter in the system. Xanth would pay, and pay dearly. This unit is designated MN-KE0506221-1, and created by the Tra-Val Corporation. Loaded with a very rudimentary AI, this android was originally designed as a high gravity, hazardous condition construction unit. One aspect of its design though, made it easily modified into an Exterminator class android. It is one reason why reports of thefts of these androids were so high during their production run. They were eventually banned by the Del’Rathi Union after the massacre at Gronda Heights. Many were still available when the Union fell, and word that Tra-Val is now producing the line again makes these androids very much in demand once again. MN-KE0506221-1 began its criminal life after being won in a game of cards. It was modified by the Burglar Captain Xanth into an Executioner to help in his criminal enterprises. For years it stood beside its master as the perfect bodyguard. This came to an end when the bounty hunter Captain Chim caught up with Xanth. Taking the damaged parts that was MN-KE0506221-1, Chim had his techs repair and refurbish it. Now named “Monkey”, MN-KE0506221-1 has been an invaluable member of the Void Ranger Bounty Company and bodyguard to Captain Chim.
