I've been working on some buildings, using the Platformer Sets. Glued together, mounted on plasticard (expensive I know - but longer lasting than board or card) - with bits of extra "furniture" added for effect. I shall be making some "shanty" buildings, similar to this picture - I'm thinking general AE-Bounty games, Stargate Games (I have LOADS of Stargate Miniatures, including a Death Glider), Firefly, even Star Wars at a pinch (all using the AE-Bounty rules of course). Pictures of the first buildings "in the raw" to come

Great sets. My buddy is the guy who designed these. I haven't used them as platformers, but to make distinct buildings. I was wondering if it would be possible to assemble them "inside out" as twer for quick and dirty starship interiors!

I've got two of these sets. The one pictured above and the smaller one. They are both great, except my fingers hurt after putting one together!

Also, don't put those railings on the narrow walkways, otherwise you won't be able to fit miniatures with 30mm bases on them.

What, you use them for gaming in the Star Wars universe? It's a reference to the number of 'unsafe' walkways in the Star Wars movies. The railings that do exist are made of some kind of... unobtainium that is impervious to lightsabres

Death Star superlaser technician 1: [after blowing up Alderaan] So, anyway, I says, "Forget the dental plan, forget sick leave. I just want a railing. You know, one railing right here!" [points to the edge of the platform they're standing on] Death Star superlaser technician 2: Yeah, I know. I've almost fallen over that thing so many times. So what'd they say? Death Star superlaser technician 1: Get this: they said they're worried we'd be leaning all day. Death Star superlaser technician 2: They said that? Death Star superlaser technician 1: Yeah. Death Star superlaser technician 2: Well, none of this will matter when we're famous singers.
