So, after looking at the Japanese list, I felt compelled to protect the purity and virtue of Nanking and thought maybe the ROA list might be a good place to start for a Chinese list. Thoughts?

Do you mean the historical stats or the, uh, 'other' side? :}

So, after looking at the Japanese list, I felt compelled to protect the purity and virtue of Nanking and thought maybe the ROA list might be a good place to start for a Chinese list. Thoughts? I can honestly say that the ROA aren't weird enough to cover the range of options we have in store for the Chinese factions in the game. When Clint sees this post, I'm sure he'll want to chime in too. But if you want to proxy some pulpy orientals (maybe even Boxers with the high ROA armor?) to repulse the Japanese invaders using the ROA, that would be fun to see. Make sure you post what you've done here and let us take a look at it.

I was thinking the historical units from the ROA list.

Well, the fellows ostensibly running Nanking (via Shanghai) would be fighting for the Japanese not against However, I think when you do see the Chinese factions sometime next year, you will be both shocked and awed by the immense scope and range of options available to them. They're kinda like Chaos in Warhammer - tons of options. The one thing I'd caution about using ROA would be their high armour, which is going to make it tough for the Japanese to injure them.
