I know Ive seen this answered somewhere before for AE-WW2 but I cant find it. How do ability boosts stack?
My question revolves around a Nikkar Brute Hero Headtaker with a Heavy Melee weapon - is he sitting at Str 9 on a swing or something lower as he has 3 seperate +2s to his strength.
If its explained in the Bounty book which page?

My question revolves around a Nikkar Brute Hero Headtaker with a Heavy Melee weapon - is he sitting at Str 9 on a swing or something lower as he has 3 seperate +2s to his strength. If its explained in the Bounty book which page? There's nothing in the book anywhere that says bonuses don't stack, so basic addition says yes, that's Str 9. Gets to 11 on a charge, and if he Focus Attacks for max he could get to 13. You're also missing out on Adrenal Glands or Cybernetic Arms for another +1. This isn't D&D with a billion typed bonuses to track, so go to town with combos. I'd rather have a sword on that build anyway, preferably monowire - or maybe even shock gloves, giving you +1 Str while retaining the non-lethal option for better bounty earnings. The CC penalty for Heavy Melee weapons is a serious drawback no matter how strong you are, and they're probably the worst melee weapon in the game right now because of it. They'd need to be +3 Str (or no bonus and an extra 1d6 damage, ala some heavy ranged weapons) to make me even consider taking one. Melee master helps a lot, but he's still behind on CC when facing another melee murder machine.
