Certainly we're gonna get net guns ans powered whips in the future ?  Maybe a net upgrade to electrical mesh for any upcoming robots /synthetic types. Or an stun lash whip with one or 2 inch range ? You know all that good sci-fi camp stuff |

I was thinking of something with the 'No cover' rule, but short ranged. Perfect for going hunting in the close confines of a starship.

Hey how about a personal holographic projector [ might be more of a dirty trick than gear though ] Kinda like in Total Recall. Enemy shoots at the vid instead of you. Maybe only affects units in LOS once  |

Urrrg, can't sleep... so I'll bug the forum with my sleepless ramblings. How about a grapple gun [ perhaps the cool forearm mounted type.] Can go up 1 level for no AP or perhaps multiple levels for 1 AP and you get some small bonus to not get sucked out during decompression [ in a spectacular movie fashion shooting it onto some railing as your crew mates pass you by and get spaced ] |

That's a cool idea. Maybe extra distance for extra AP? Like for 1 AP, the range is 6", for two it is 12" or similar? Also, firing it at a person means they make a strength check or are moved to base-to-base, hitting objects on the way?
