Anyone have a recommendation for another werewolf model that goes well with the wonderful SS beasty from Darkson? I'll be testing some new stuff that requires a werewolf officer to go with the current SS werewolf. Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Chris

I like this one by Westwind Productions. I took a look around, a few other companies ( Brigade Games and Scarab Miniatures) that have WWII German werewolf sculpts, but I just didn't like them as much.

Reaper also has some nice ones, more fantasy releated, however by painting the scraps of clothing still on them in German army uniform colors, you can easily fit them in.

Werewolf. Officer.
I'm going to have to demand he have a hat, possibly at a rakish angle.

Werewolf. Officer. I'm going to have to demand he have a hat, possibly at a rakish angle. You could get one from a Tamiya 1/48 plastic set. That's what I did to make my Kreighexen Conversion. However, the one that came in the set had a head molded to it. I had to carefully snip the head out from under the hat with some fine snips and clean it up with my X-acto Knife. Seems like a lot for that little hat, but you get so many other bitz for your conversions to work with. Another cheap source is to nab the Indy Heroclix figure Major Maxim, which can be obtained fairly cheaply. the plastic is even softer and you should be able to remove the hat from his head. Eitherway, the plastic figure is much easiery to remove the hat from the head without damaging the hat than the pewter figures.

Be aware that one from Scarab is going to be pretty big as he's 1/48 rather than 28mm. I have some of the power armour figures and they work well if you assume an 8 foot or so height.

The werewolf officer with his two regular SS werewolf friends worked out great! I still got my butt handed to me because there was zero cover on the board. That detail will certainly go in the "how to use this" section of the upcoming OTW.
Now to finish modeling the junior wolves so I can run a wolfman horde! ;D

Well, by my count, you can have 8 wolfish models on the board with the current version of the list. I think that qualifies as a horde

How about pack instead of a horde, Chris.
Though the way we got our butt handed to us, you could also call them bullet magnets. ;D
