I have read that the german army were interested in developing a new 15mm anti-tank rifle around 1942 or so, but nothing ever came of it.
That is something that would fit into this miniatures range, I think.
Think of it as a ww2 german version of the Barrett "light fifty", except slightly bulkier. Probably need 2 troopers to move the thing around disassembeled.

German forces tended to use the K98 for sniping although some troops used the semi-auto Gewehr 43 with a scope. Their are also reports of the MG42 having been used to snipe with!
Soviet forces made extensive use of the PTRD anti-tank rifle as a sniper/anti-sniper weapon.
