Hey guys, I downloaded OTW 18 again last night, and it still contains the error of SS conscripts heavy weapons teams being able to select flammenwerfer (and I think there was going to be clarification on the availability of the werewolf pack leader). Will the doc be replaced?

Cheers for that I'm converting my Kaminski brigade now but I am just awaiting a shipment of PPSH!

I don't know if this is an oversight in OTW 18 but the Russian SS Infantry selection only has the PPsh-41 MP as weapon choice. While the Conscripts has access to the StG45(?) (should have been the StG44 I guess). That the Russian SS have access to the PPsh-41 makes sense since many german soldiers looted it. But shouldn't they still be equipped by Germany from the outset and thus have the MP40 or StG44 instead with the option to swap one or more weapons for the PPsh-41?
All in all, across the Kaminski brigade options the weapon choices seem a bit odd. Some of them have access to the german weapons and others the russian ones. I can't seem to find consistancy in the weapon options.

The russian officer does have access to german rifles, but the Russian SS troops do not- to me it looks like a flavour/fluff distinction (the officers receive premium supplied German STG45 weaponry and the rest of the kaminski brigade are undersupplied). The conscripts are German SS, there to mow down any russians that get too frisky Thus carrying German rifles. From reading the fluff, anyways (PS... that was awesome writing) (Actually I noticed possibly an error- under SS conscript heavy weapon squad, says that the squad is armed with stg45's, but the rule under reads: Limited Equipment: The loader of the squad carries an StG44.)

I will double check with Clint on those points. I only want to do the edits once. And by the way, thank Clint for the writing on the Kaminski Brigade. He had that idea stewing in the back of his vermin-ridden brain since last April. Cool stuff. We might even run a contest some day for you guys, where you have to read the text and figure out which parts are alternate history and which parts are real! And trust me, wikipedia won't help

Thank you Clint. Great stuff... The whole idea of AE is great stuff, the seamless mixture of truth and makebelieve is awsome. Anax wrote an in depth review on the danish miniature gaming forum and I was hooked... All I need now is for the missus to raise my allowance. My local gaming group have agreed to begin collecting and gaming beginning next year.
